Our purpose is to serve as an entirely volunteer group to provide food to the elderly, families, children, and others who suffer from food insufficiency through obtaining and transporting food to the pantry for storage and preparation, distribution of food at the food pantry site, delivery of food to elderly adults and shut-ins, and quick-response on-call emergency provision of food either at the site or through home delivery by volunteers.  We are also an active member of a community consortium working to provide a small social center on the main street for elderly and isolated elder adults, and transportation to enable more convenient and efficient access to that center.
