Sprout is a student garden at Conn College that is currently expanding to include a new 1/2 acre market garden and orchard, regenerating a field of compacted soil and turning it into a source of healthy produce to nourish minds and bodies in our community, both on and off-campus.  As both an integral part of curricular and extra-curricular campus life, Sprout aims to engage students in agricultural, ecological, and food systems education while also providing a venue for student-led initiatives, projects, events, and recreation.  We partner with local farmers and other non-profit organizations to learn together and work towards a sustainable and just local food system.
