Our purpose is to... The Snowsville Community Trust, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 2024 by a group of residents from the towns of Braintree and Brookfield in Central Vermont. They were drawn together around the common cause of celebrating and revitalizing the essential character of the small historic village of Snowsville, in an effort to strengthen community bonds for a sustainable future.The group is comprised of talented volunteers,  with each member bringing a unique set of skills to the team.  They all share a passion for serving the organization’s mission to “preserve and protect the greater Snowsville area’s architectural heritage, historic places, and cultural landmarks in an effort to foster community development and vitality.”This mission is achieved through two major goals:1. Create opportunities for meaningful and robust, face-to-face community building through activities that bring people together. 2. Working to revitalize vacant historic buildings to create healthy and safe housing opportunities and spaces where the community can gather.
