Our purpoSimiyu Children Home’s overarching goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for vulnerable children to thrive and reach their full potential. Our mission is to rescue, shelter, and support orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged children by meeting their basic needs—food, shelter, healthcare, and education—while fostering their spiritual, emotional, and social development. We formed this group because we are deeply moved by the plight of children living in poverty, neglect, and without a sense of hope. We are driven by a calling to reflect God’s love by ensuring that every child under our care feels valued, loved, and prepared to contribute positively to society. This work is rooted in the belief that children are the foundation of a better future. By providing them with stability, education, and guidance, we aim to break cycles of poverty and despair, transforming them into empowered leaders, caregivers, and changemakers. Our vision is to see every child nurtured in a holistic way, instilling values of love, faith, and self-reliance. We are inspired by the biblical call to care for the least among us and remain committed to this noble mission. Additionally, we believe in community collaboration and engagement. We work closely with local stakeholders, churches, and well-wishers to create sustainable solutions that address the root causes of child issues that might end up bringing issues in the family
