SHELL is an intergenerational art project that celebrates diverse bodies, voices and imaginations through film, performance and hands-on art making.  We started working together in 2026, after similarly inclusive, collaborative art projects with folks of all ages in the Upper Valley.  We want to see how we can translate and expand upon lessons learned in that parallel work to the needs, strengths and hopes of folks in Manchester.  As artists and facilitators, we are teaming up with youth leaders and participants to share leadership and challenge norms of belonging and representation in art and in our communities.  We also want to create opportunities for creative expression and public presentation with and for folks whose embodied experiences are too often erased or misrepresented.
