to become the first creative arts reuse center in Connecticut. Scrap-It seeks to: 1) Provide low-cost art supplies to teachers/students, day-care providers, artists, theatres, after school programs and crafters; 2) Provide Connecticut businesses, industry, manufacturers and organizations opportunities to reduce their waste-resources by donating them to Scrap-It. Resources include paper end-rolls, unprinted newsprint, scrap paper, corks, baskets, yarn, fabric scraps, wallpaper books, tiles, samples, frames, poles and posts, jewelry parts and more leftover paint; 3) Develop and offer a wide-range of educational programs and workshops that utilize materials from Scrap-It encouraging creative expression and provide skill-building activities; 4) Develop a travelling creative arts outreach program for West Hartford, Hartford and New Britain area schools.
