Our Purpose

to improve the Nathan Clifford School ground park for the benefit of everyone in the school and neighboring community.

Summary of Projects

The group received a small grant in 2008 to create Green Team who can be called upon to help schools develop and implement greening projects. The Green team plans to hold workshops to train the team and develop a School ground Greening Guide Book for references and resource information. These will help expand our ability to effectively support a greater number of projects and broaden our coalitions positive impact on the community.

The School Ground park Greening Committee received a grant in 2005 to improve the bleak community park school ground into a useful and inviting recreational resource and gathering space for the community and its children. The area is a densely populated urban environment in need of natural green space for healthy recreation.
