Our purpose is to educate through preserving and teaching the richness of African culture through the arts which includes dance, drum and agriculture through our farm to school summer program. Our mission extends to uplift children and youth of color in the Greater Hartford, Bloomfield and Windsor areas by teaching them their history and set positive goals for their futures. We believe that by bringing children back to the source, we help them to develop a sense of pride in themselves through creativity. With their energy immersed in positive activities, they do not have time for negativity in their lives.
