Our Purpose

The group plans and helps to oversee the planting, maintenance and harvesting of the garden. We have 6 raised beds, for a total of almost 500 square feet of growing space. Veggies raised are used to supplement the fresh food offerings on the hot lunch line all fall. The garden is also used as a learning place; the science teacher, the art teacher and classroom teachers all use the garden for various purposes.
