Ripton Energy Assistance Program (REAP) was established to provide heating fuel assistance to Ripton residents who cannot provide heating fuel through their own resources. REAP also provides weatherization services upon request to those residents who cannot afford to access those services themselves. REAP arranges for heating oil and propane deliveries and has accumulated a stockpile of firewood for those who heat with wood. REAP seeks donations from the community, which can be in the form of money, labor, firewood, transport, or use of equipment.
