Our Purpose

Our purpose is to increase farm sustainability and viability and serve to protect and enhance public health in all of RI's counties. We provide invaluable assistance to landowners and municipalities, land trusts, state and federal agencies. We encourage the adoption of best management practices on agricultural and non-agricultural lands to address erosion control, reduce sedimentation of our state waters, improve water and soil quality, benefit wildlife, and provide invaluable land use management planning services.
