Our mission is to deepen the connections between people and Earth through land stewardship, education and community. We accomplish this by teaching small-scale place-based human skills, leading classes and workshops, and practicing long-term regenerative foraging while suppressing invasive species. We teach children and adults about edible and medicinal plants, basketry, archery, tracking wildlife, hide tanning, cordage and carabiners, organic arts and crafts, toys from trees, natural awareness, open communication, and more. We encourage collective experimental education: we bring tools and materials and people together, teach what we know, share when we can, and try to always be learning.
