Our Purpose

The Revere Arabic Community (RAC) was founded in 2022 to serve low-income, immigrant, and non-english speaking families in Revere and the surrounding areas, many of whom face food insecurity, language barriers, and housing instability. These residents often fall through the cracks of traditional support systems due to limited English proficiency and unfamiliarity with public resources.RAC began by organizing community listening sessions to identify urgent needs, which led to running our own 2 monthly food distribution, multilingual public health campaigns, cultural events, and family outreach programs. We’ve hosted community forums with city officials, helped residents navigate SNAP and fuel assistance applications, and collaborated with Revere Public Schools and local non-profits. Through advocacy and grassroots organizing, we've worked to ensure immigrant families are included in city planning and services.
