Randolph DEI Coalition

Our Purpose

The Randolph DEI Coalition is a volunteer-led community group working to strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion in Randolph, Massachusetts. Our mission is to create and sustain a community that embraces diversity, supports equity, and ensures inclusion through representation and participation in all facets of life for Randolph residents. We formed the coalition in response to community concerns about inequities in access to resources, representation in local leadership, and barriers to participation in civic life. Randolph is a diverse, majority–people of color community, yet many residents (particularly immigrants, renters with low income, and multilingual households) have historically had limited access to decision-making processes that affect their daily lives. Our work focuses on three core objectives: celebrating the town’s cultural diversity, promoting equitable access to resources and opportunities, and ensuring that Randolph’s leadership and institutions reflect the community they serve. We host cultural events and community dialogues that bring residents together across differences, advocate for language access and equitable policies, support nonpartisan civic engagement, and work with Town officials to improve representation in hiring, boards, and commissions. Our long-term goal is to build a community where all residents have meaningful opportunities to participate, lead, and shape the future of Randolph.
