Our purpose is to transform an underutilized space in downtown Wolfeboro into an accessible, community-centered green space that supports both people and the local environment. The project is rooted in a belief that small, thoughtfully designed spaces can have a meaningful impact by bringing people together while supporting pollinators such as bees, birds, and butterflies.Our goal is to create a welcoming place where community members of all ages can gather, connect with nature, and participate in shared experiences, while also learning about the importance of native plants and pollinator habitats. Through a combination of environmental design, education, and free public programming, we aim to strengthen both ecological health and community connection.We see this work as part of a broader effort to demonstrate how local, community-driven projects can enhance downtown spaces, increase access to nature, and inspire similar efforts in other towns.
