Our Purpose

The purpose of the Provincetown Conservation Commission is to protect wetland and natural resources; expand knowledge and understanding of environmental issues; provide opportunity for people to experience their natural resources; and to collaborate with other environmental interest groups in the expansion of conservation and open space public lands within the Town of Provincetown.

Summary of Projects

Provincetown Conservation Commission received a grant in 2009 to fund the creation of a citizen land stewardship advocacy group to be charged with the objectives of planning and developing a new community garden to increase civic awareness and participation in the development and care for public conservation and open space lands.
