POCCA's mission is to educate residents, businesses and public agencies of Cape Cod about the importance of keeping our drinking water safe by eliminating the use of herbicides, pesticides and other hazardous chemicals in our fragile ecological environment.Our purpose is to educate residents on Cape Cod about decreasing the amount of toxins and chemicals used/purchased to help protect our natural resources. We especially wish to protect our sole source aquifer which lies not far below our loose, highly permeable, sandy soil.
