to partner with local entities to raise the awareness of urban growing and how we all can be active members in such endeavors. The first partnership will be with a local elementary school: Tucker Elementary. The Planting More Project's primary goals are to feed minds and bellies, with the use of an outdoor educational curriculum and outward-focused community projects. The curriculum will focus not only on the wonder of growing food - but also the reality of how we use this food to be great neighbors to those around us. The goal of the outdoor classroom will be to expose and introduce concepts such as: food access, cultural diversity and this idea of being influential "good neighbors" by using "growing" as a medium. Heralded overall is the hope to expose and introduce students to thoughtful, creative ways to use growing and fresh produce as a way to open up communities.
