Our Purpose

The Patten Community Cupboard was organized by a concerned group of local volunteers five years ago to address the food insecurity issues of our surrounding communities. This community cupboard is open to all people in our surrounding communities who are experiencing food insecurities with no questions asked. The community cupboard provides non-perishable food and various toiletries to those in need and is housed in the Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church. The community cupboard regularly serves 60 individuals on a monthly basis, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic numbers have doubled and continue to rise.
