To locate and map the town's catch basins and outfalls. A major oil spill nearly occurred when a tanker truck overturned near a catch basin. Had it ruptured, thousands of gallons of oil would have flowed to the Palmer River. The Town discovered it had no readily available maps locating the drains and outfalls, and without this information, such accidents would have major water quality impacts.
