Our Purpose

Our purpose is to... incorporate the experiences and wisdom from those with lived experience from substance use recovery as peer support to those seeking or healing from addiction. We honor all pathways to recovery and  self-determination by setting and achieving personal goals, developing genuine relationships, and doing our work together.  We provide connection and promote genuine friendships. We have leveled the playing field to create a community free of  stigma, exclusion, and dehumanization. We use a participatory process that encourages community involvement and a peer governed organization. We provide outreach, harm reduction education, we are secondary narcan distributors, offer single and group support in a compassionate, safe, and welcoming environment to all, and our services cost nothing. We are trauma informed peer recovery navigators trained by and approved through the bureau of substance abuse. We have no place in our community for fellowship such as this. We decided to create a community that we would like to have seen in our recovery a year and a half ago. We found a meeting place that is already to small, we have purchased our computers, office expenses and rent is out of our own pocket. We believe we can provide the compassion, leadership, and hope that is direly needed, our whole hearted committment to reducing opioid/polysubstance use and fatalities from overdoses.
