Summary of Projects

The Olneyville Templot Community Garden received a grant in 2010 for project materials (compost, wood, cover crop, tools) to prepare the garden for the 2011 growing season. The Olneyville Community Garden has been using temporary raised beds (templots) on a piece of land owned by the Olneyville Housing Corporation. Working with the Housing Corporation, SouthSide Community Land Trust and (NEGEF Grantee) Worcester Roots Project, the group wants to expand the garden and remediate the contaminated soil to provide more garden space to the growing list of interested gardeners.
