Newhallville Fresh Starts, Inc is an all-encompassing mechanism that affords the resources necessary for community members to flourish. We dispense dignity to those most disenfranchised, impoverished, and minoritized: formerly incarcerated people, LGBTQ+ people, impoverished people, and people who use drugs. We provide the community with the material resources needed to actualize stability and possibility. As people in, from, by, and for the community, we create innovative initiatives based on our shared dreams and needs. Whether it’s sharing hundreds of nutritious meals with our neighbors, or organizing a liberal arts program for New Haven youth, and supportive programming for returning citizens, Newhallville Fresh Starts fosters our collective flourishment and liberation.
