Newhall Fields Community Farm (Newhall Fields) strengthens the community by creating access to healthy food through sustainable agriculture, volunteer-powered farming, and outdoor education.As a community-based farm, Newhall Fields created their mission and vision to close the food gap, regenerate the land, and educate people on how soil systems and biological life are directly linked to human and planetary health. From the beginning, by hosting monthly community meetings, we listened to and connected with members of our community. We learned that people want to eat healthy. People want to know how to grow their own food and cook delicious meals themselves. People want to work, teach, learn, participate, and connect at Newhall Fields.
