Our purpose is to advocate for public health protection, educate others, and form coalitions to support grassroots movements to affect public policy. The group started in 2016 and now has about 600 members on Facebook.  We want to educate the public about the need to protect our drinking water, the threats to our water and how to effectively engage with state and federal lawmakers on policy direction and change.  We also communicate about other scientific issues including climate change and chemicals, etc.
