The Mystic Tenant Association (MTA) came together because tenants recognized the need for a stronger voice, greater community connection, and shared support within our housing community. Many residents face challenges related to housing stability, access to resources, and opportunities for engagement. We realized that by organizing, we could create a platform where tenants are heard, represented, and empowered to shape the place we call home.Our overarching goal is to build a stronger, more connected community where tenants feel supported, informed, and included in decision-making. We work to ensure that residents not only have access to resources but also have opportunities to engage in events, programs, and initiatives that foster dignity, respect, and belonging.This work matters because housing is more than a roof—it is the foundation of stability, health, and opportunity. By coming together, tenants can better advocate for our collective needs while also celebrating the strengths of our community. Through projects like donation drives, family-friendly events, and resident-led initiatives, we create spaces for connection while addressing real challenges our neighbors face.Ultimately, the MTA exists because we believe in the power of community. Our mission is to uplift tenants’ voices, strengthen connections, and build a foundation of mutual support so that everyone in our housing community has the chance to thrive.
