Our purpose is to foster positive interactions and advance community integration by providing quality educational, wellness and referral services for all members, inclusive of the most marginalized within the Muslim Community. A program of MCL, Black Seed Farmers Market's purpose is to connect community members of diverse backgrounds with each other, as well as with local farmers, some of whom are recent immigrants and/or refugees in order to foster wellness, belonging, and a supportive local economy around healthy food. Our market's purpose is to empower community members to take their health into their own hands through access to healthier food choices.
