MissionSAFE is an organization for youth, teens, and young adults living in the development who have“stalled” in life because of the trauma associated with the chronic stress of living in poverty and violence. The program is focused on fighting hunger, poverty,  educational assistance, and violence prevention strategies. In 2005, MissionSAFE expanded to two sites: adding a Charlestown program while maintaining its Roxbury program in Mission Hill, and adding  job readiness, personal growth and addressing the impact of trauma to program offerings.
