Our purpose is to assist faith communities, their members and the public to decrease their carbon dioxide emissions & energy costs. We educate people on why climate change is a matter of morality and justice, and provide training on energy efficiency, solar energy & community organizing. The group was formed by people who believe there is a moral responsibility to respond to climate change. The moral component is most evident in the fact that those least responsible for climate change -- the young, the poor and people of color -- are most severely affected by it.
