Masks For All aims to make and distribute reusable masks to those who cannot afford them all around the US until masks are not needed anymore. Masks for All is a fiscally sponsored, teen-run nonprofit that currently has branches in CA, NM, NJ, and MA and currently plans to expand to more states. As leaders of the Massachusetts sector, we recognize the desperate need for masks in low-income areas that have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19. We are motivated to tackle the lack of masks in these populations due to its imperative nature and urgency. Also as global citizens, we aim to provide handmade, cloth coverings that can be washed and reused rather than single-use masks in an effort to be more environmentally conscious during a time of increased waste production.Keeping in mind the health of these Americans and the planet, we hope to fix the ongoing problem of the deadly effects of this pandemic.
