Our purpose is to connect with  the community garden and local farmers in order to provide healthy food and educational opportunities for students. Our committee is committed to educating students on where their food comes from and procuring local food.  Currently we grow three crops in the community garden.  We would like to expand our student involvement, create a stipend for a part time Farm to School coordinator and pay an intern to tend to the crops for the summer.
