At LDRC, we’re committed to building a stronger, more vibrant Lyndon by revitalizing our downtown and empowering the business community. The Northeast Kingdom is experiencing a period of vibrant economic growth. LDRC was organized to ensure that the town of Lyndon can participate in this growth in a responsible and productive manner. In years past, LDRC has helped to organize events in Lyndon’s Village Center to encourage interaction between the community and local businesses. Additionally, the group has successfully obtained grant funding in the past to support a number of cultural and beautification projects in Lyndon. Moving forward, LDRC is working to become the partnering nonprofit to assist the town in achieving Downtown Designation to further these goals. In this role, LDRC can be a leading voice for economic advancement and a bridge between the community and town leadership. The organization will play a key role in attracting new businesses, securing funding opportunities, and serving as a resource for current and prospective business owners.
