To expand its '2000 for 2000' program to plant 2000 trees in Lowell by the year 2000 to engage more residents and city officials in local tree planting, gardening and city improvements that will make the city a healthier place.

To fund several tree workshops that are part of the community organizing elements of the Trust's Tree Action - 2000 by 2000 Campaign.
