Our purpose is to mitigate the infestation of lake weed within Town Farm Bay, in North Ferrisburgh Vermont.  We harvest the aquatic plants washed ashore and due to the abundance bring them to the Long Point Corporation stump dump.  However, we would like to start a compost program specific to the harvested lake weed.  With help, we aim to produce a nutritious fertilizer product from the composted lake weed while properly maintaining and controling the local habitat in hopes to benifit and improve the bays aquatic and terrestrial enviromnents.
