Leadership Portland is a civic education program, designed for individuals eager to make a difference by exploring vital social, political, and economic issues in the local context. The program includes ten interactive days over six months, one issue each day, designed by Leadership Portland alumni/program committee. Participants take a deep dive into the opportunities and challenges of community evolution, hear from leading specialists, and intersect around the issues in a highly immersive learning model. Together, participants explore the places, programs, and people that define Portland’s history, influence our present, and chart the future of the city. Leadership Portland fosters local civic engagement, embraces community complexities, and sparks deep learning and collaboration.
