Our purpose is to protect and preserve the water quality, natural resources and scenic beauty of Lake Wentworth, Crescent Lake and their watershed, now and for future generations. Our strategic focus areas are:  1. Water Quality Improvement and Watershed Management:The LWF works with the towns of Wolfeboro, Brookfield and New Durham, watershed users and shoreline residents, to implement best management practices which improve water quality in the Lake Wentworth and Crescent Lake Watershed.2. Land Conservation and Stewardship:The LWF conserves land to protect water quality within the Lake Wentworth and Crescent Lake Watershed, and also conserving natural habitats and wildlife, and protecting scenic enjoyment.3. Education:The LWF’s educates landowners and visitors to our watershed in how they can protect water quality, support land and natural resource stewardship, and implement best management and sustainable practices.
