to educate students, through the Diversified Agricultural Program, about the importance of sustainable farm practices and prepares students entering the agricultural work force. The curriculum engages students in both classroom and outdoor settings, teaching gardening and farming skills, soil ecology and land management. The Agricultural program also works with students in the Career and Technical Student Organization under Future Farmers for America (FFA). Approximately 50 students from Lake Region are enrolled this year in either FFA or Agricultural courses.
