Kearsarge Climate Action Mission is to increase community awareness of the climate crisis and identify opportunities for regional collaboration to effect change. Our goals are to: 1.  Educate local citizens about the climate crisis; 2. Identify and implement projects to tackle climate change that are best handled on a regional basis; and 3. Act as a regional convener  to share best practices between towns.We have chosen the Windowdresser project the past three years to help all families in the Kearsarge region to warm theirr homes and save money through custom window inserts.  One reason Windowdressers was chosen is the ability to provide options for families who struggle financially. This project enables 25-30% to receive 10 inserts at no cost per year. All customers and volunteers, with materials from Windowdressers, construct the inserts over one week in the Fall. All customers have the option to round up to help others, and to offer what they can.
