Our Purpose
KCRS Youth Empowerment is an outreach program that helps young females step into leadership roles. It includes support groups, Crown Her luncheons and conferences, mentoring, and workshops. Our goal is to help young women overcome systemic inequalities and empower them to lead healthier, financially stable lives and become economically self-sufficient. I am Kasandra Dozier, a minority female who grew up in poverty in a close-knit community. With 18 years of experience in finance and 27 years of volunteering, I am passionate about empowering others, especially young females. In 2023, I founded KCRS Youth Empowerment to help young women navigate systemic challenges. Over the past 20 years, I have dedicated my time and resources to supporting underserved minorities, and I felt it was time to provide these young females with the resources they need, based on my own experiences.
