At its inception, Just Basics, Inc., brought together two programs that have long worked to meet basic food needs in the greater Montpelier area. With the strength of their shared structure in Just Basics, Inc. these two programs are now stronger and better equipped to meet ever-changing needs in the community. This partnership was forged with the intention of creating a catalyst and providing the organization to support these and other initiatives with the common purposes of addressing short-term needs and confronting root causes of poverty and dependence through just and sustainable solutions.
