Our Purpose

to foster sustainable relationships among people, other creatures, energy resources, and the environment and to promote interdisciplinary community partnerships in scientific, artistic, and other cultural endeavors. In fulfilling that mission, our goals are: 1) energy conservation and education; 2) conservation of local natural resources; 3) 'smart growth' and low impact development; and 4) sustainable living.

Summary of Projects

The group received a grant in 2011 to bring together representatives of local environmental nonprofits, city commissions, and the business and educational communities to form a Collective Impact Network. Network partners will work in mutually reinforcing ways to achieve measurable goals that preserve Middletown's natural environment and enhance its general quality of life.
