This is a Mushroom Farm located in Blue Hill, Me. I started this farm 4 years ago. I'm from China where people have a wide varieties of mushrooms served on dinner table everyday.  After living in Maine for 10 years I realized that people considered mushroom as an ingredient rather than a natural protein full of vitamins and amino acid. The nature of fruit is not only close to human body easy to digest but also a very strong anti-toxic matter. I would like to introduce mushrooms to our locals and see a dish of mushroom their dinner table. Moreover, I would like to see little kids acquiring a taste for a healthy way of living. Mushroom growing is such an land /water protection and a clean way to ensure our future. I had no experience of growing mushrooms before,  we started with our own hands to clear a patch of land the 1st year, the 2nd year we built 2 more small growing shed and had electricity, 3nd set up a water way to keep the mushrooms wet, last year we had our well in place. This is the 5th year of farm, we have been selling at Farmer's Market, Food co-op, restaurants and Farm Drop locally. The challenge we face this year is to keep setting up as we grow and sell. Since the local restarants are closed and can not start growing. I wish and will do our best to keep move forward and to stay in business.  This little farm is so well regarded locally and I can forget the smile on people's face.
