Our purpose is to carry out the goals, spirit and effect of our community mission, by identifying and meeting the energy-and environmental-related needs of Islesboro's private and nonprofit sectors; by serving the sustainability, welfare, health, and education of Islesboro's residents; by fostering stewardship of its natural ecosystem; by supporting its social and economic vitality; by establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships within our community and with communities and organizations beyond ourselves, and by building relationships that will enable, foster, strengthen and sustain existing programs and future program growth.
