Our Purpose

Immigrant Community Development Center (ICDC) is a non-profit tax exempt public charity organization solely dedicated in uplifting and seeks world of hope, tolerance, equality, and social justice for the African community specially the Somalis' community within the city of Springfield, MA and it's surrounding cities. It provides a way for people to work together for the common good, transforming shared beliefs, culture, agriculture, and hopes into action. It is to give shape to our youths boldest dreams, highest ideals, and noblest causes. It is ICDCs goal to educate, Empower, inspire, enlighten, and nurture everyone specially people of color and immigrants and refugees of all age, gender, race, and socioeconomic status. We are to be involved in public education, civic engagement, recreational, environmental health, immigration and refugee services, and leadership, drive economic growth, and strengthen the fabric of Springfield, MA and its surrounding cities of African community.
