Idle-Free VT raises awareness of the idling issue by educating individuals, students, businesses, and municipalities through media exposure, distributing handouts, giving presentations, networking, collaborating, forming coalitions, and encouraging local activism, advocacy, practices and policies: town ordinances, resolutions, energy conservation policies, and school policies. Idle-Free VT also advocates and lobbies for vehicle idling restriction laws and regulations.
