Our Purpose

Our long-term goal is to preserve the environmental quality of our two threatened ponds and their surrounding watershed for future generations who will live and recreate there.  This will be accomplished through a series of activities that include milfoil removal, erosion control through competitive DEP watershed grants, water quality monitoring (including a loon count), and education of homeowners and the larger community.  We propose to use Grow grant funds to collaborate, share knowledge, and expand decision-making with our watershed community. We expect to  learn from each other about identifying priorities and carrying them out.
