Crossroads is an afternoon program for students. My portion of the program is a cooking/gardening class to have students learn about plants, to plant and care for a garden, and to cook food from the garden as well as other items. My hope is to have our garden become more of a community project. I want to have the students' families help with the care of the garden during the summer months, share the food from the garden with these families and definitely with senior citizens.
