Our purpose is to build food security within our community, especially in times of uncertainty. Our community has a large percentage of impoverished families. Many of these are now struggling with the current shut-downs and loss of wages and jobs. While our school is working to feed children through a bagged meal program, we are also pursuing ways to ensure all members of community families are able to eat. To do so, we are activitely raising funds to purchase groceries for a weekly delivery to families in this time of struggle.
