The Community Events Collective of Hawk & Handsaw Farm, is a volunteer run group that has a purpose of organizing free community events at Hawk & Handsaw Farm and other locations on Aquidneck Island, RI. The purpose first and foremost is it create opportunities for community connection which, we believe is at the root of all climate resilience.As a group we have held cyclical events and workshops for almost a decade, always at a no required monetary charge.Our annual seasonal celebrations offer community building for all ages and a chance to connect with the seasons and nature.The workshops and classes we put on ourselves or invited teachers have hosted, offer a wide range of learning oppertunites for the community, all ages, encompassing a extremely varied range of topics.All events, classes, workshops, are offered via sliding scale donation, no one is ever turned away.
