Our group is a collaboration between the Hartford Energy Commission and the Hartland Energy Committee. We are working together to hold our first Window Dressers build that will focus on creating window inserts for 15-25 homes in our communities. Our specific focus is to reach families and households that are fuel burdened and facing economic challenges. These window inserts will stop with the loss of conditioned air and Window Dressers have found that households that utilized these inserts have an estimated annual saving of $27 per insert. Energy burdened households will be eligible to receive up to ten window inserts for free.
